U.S. Navy Recognizes Long-term Commitment to High Quality and On-time Delivery

BURLINGTON, Massachusetts - dataCon, Inc., a leading supplier of mission critical advanced electronics solutions, has been honored with the Excellence Award from the U.S. Navy's Program Executive Office for Theater Surface Combatants. This award acknowledges dataCon’s outstanding performance as a supplier of high reliability (Hi-Rel) backplane assemblies for the U.S. Navy’s Aegis Combat System.

dataCon, a four-time recipient of the U.S. Navy's esteemed Aegis Excellence Award, earned this recognition for demonstrating a long-term commitment to high quality and on-time delivery. For over two decades dataCon has been involved with the Aegis program by manufacturing and testing system enclosures for the U.S. Navy’s most advanced phased array radar AN/SPY- I D (V) and weapons system as well as providing components to the Mark 45 Mod 4 Cannon (EGRM), Mark 41 Vertical Launch System, Mark 15 Fire Control Unit, Mark 99 Fire Control Unit, and Anti Submarine Warfare SQQ-89. Additional contributions have included work done for Lockheed Martin in support of foreign military sales (FMS) to Spain for its F-100 frigates assembled by Indra and Bazan, and the Royal Norwegian Navy.
